Bryan Collins

In the studio with Ender, the bearded dragon.

God is the first priority in my life, and I will share what that means with anyone who is curious. Faith is the fuel of my life and art. Without God’s strength, I would have lost the battle of life many years ago.

I’ve been making art for as long as I can remember. Drawing is something that has always come naturally for me, and it gives me an escape. It’s an innate coping mechanism which has carried me through many difficult times.

In 2006 my wife Rachel and I made the decision that I would go full-time as an artist. It wasn’t easy, as the late nights, weekend hustle, and other ups-and-downs put many demands on us, but the benefits outweighed the sacrifices, so we pressed on. Now, with well over a decade of making art (and now writing fiction novels) full-time, I’m blessed with a career where I meet many amazing people, travel to places I’d never have gone otherwise, and get to share my creations to inspire and entertain people around the world.

My other interests are varied. I pretty much like all kinds of music, I enjoy gaming on the PlayStation, and I love camping, fishing, biking, hiking, kayaking, and cooking. I’m a student of TaeKwonDo, currently a blue belt. Martial Arts has been a huge factor in my mental and physical growth, and I am thankful to be practicing this challenging endeavor with my whole family.

Random information dump - I have a suppressed addiction to sushi and an unsuppressed one to coffee. My favorite “amusement” parks? Definitely zoos and aquariums. I don’t do roller coasters, but I do like to drive fast into corners in my Toyota 860 Special Edition, and wind up the RPMs on my custom Honda Sabre motorcycle. As for lazy moments, you’ll find me gripping a PS5 controller playing some type of RPG like Ghost of Tsushima, a JRPG like Ni no Kuni, or a horror shooter like Dead Space.
